The islands are split into five geographical Archipelagos: Society, Austral, Marquesas, Tuamotu & Gambier group of islands and despite their diversity they share a common factor – they are all paradise!
The easiest way to describe the makeup of the Islands of Tahiti is to split them into two groups: high islands and low islands.
The high islands are lush, mountainous islands surrounded by a ring of coral to create a stunning lagoon. They have a mix of white and black sandy beaches. The great thing about these islands is that they offer a wide variety of land and water-based activities. If chilling on a beach is all you want, there are plenty of places for that, but if you do want to get out and explore (hiking, horse riding, quad biking, golf, lava cave tubing, fishing, surfing, abseiling, 4WD touring ...we could go on & on!) the high islands are for you. The Society, Marquesas, Austral and Gambier group of islands consist mainly of high islands.
The low islands are coral atolls and are heaven for water lovers. They have no land mass in the middle, just a beautiful lagoon surrounded by a halo of coral. These atolls are a must see for divers, offering some of the world's best dive spots. Anyone who seeks a true hidden island paradise should head to these islands. The Tuamotu Archipelago is made up of low islands.

If you have a special interest or hobby, then why not incorporate it in a holiday with other like-minded people? We create a range of special interest themed trips that you can join with friends, club members, loved ones or as a solo traveller.
Our themed group events attract a mix of ages, genders and even nationalities but all our participants share a common love of travel and adventure! Our current themed trips are centred around painting, running, free-diving, surfing & art, photography and content creation, but of course the list of themes can be endless!
Your ideal experience might be to cut yourself off completely for a while so we'll send you to a remote island in the Rangiroa lagoon with no electricity and open walled beachfront bungalows. It will just be the sounds of the lapping lagoon waters lulling you to sleep. We can help you swim with the whales in the Austral islands or dive with the sharks in Moorea or celebrate a special occasion in a unique location like Motu Nao Nao.
If you like to experience the finer things in life, let us take you to the five-star St. Regis Bora Bora. Imagine being awoken in your luxury overwater bungalow by the smell of freshly brewed coffee carried in by your butler! Or, for the ultimate in sustainable luxury, live the high life, rub shoulders with celebs, be the envy of your friends and family and stay at the incredible Brando Resort.

International hotel chains and smaller independent hotels alike, are dotted throughout the Society, Tuamotu and Marquesas archipelagos. The hotels range in standard from comfortable 2 star up to the most luxurious 5 star resorts. The styles vary between modern multi-storey resorts and smaller more authentic styled hotels resembling quaint Polynesian villages. The resorts and hotels offer many fabulous room options such as garden & beach bungalows, bungalows with private plunge pools, mountain-side villas with breathtaking lagoon views and of course the epitome of a romantic escape...the overwater villa!
Resorts & Hotels
Villas are a very popular style of accommodation with Aussies who like to have all the amenities from home! The villas can feature fully equipped kitchens, multiple bedroom options, large lagoon-front gardens and swimming pools. This style of accommodation, although still quite new in French Polynesia, suits a wide range of budgets and offers studio apartments up to large, exclusive beach-front homes. Often favoured by families, villas are also proving to be very popular with groups of friends travelling together, making it a cost effective but also private way to enjoy your island experience.
Tahiti Homes
We’d describe Pensions as B&B style accommodation featuring a lot of floral! They offer a more modest and often cheaper style of accommodation so are great for travellers on a budget. They are also great for the adventurous traveller who doesn’t need all the comforts of home and craves the places less visited by mainstream tourists. Pensions are usually family run so you will experience first-hand the true meaning of Polynesian hospitality. Whilst your room or bungalow is private you usually share meals with your local hosts and other guests, a wonderfully enriching opportunity to discover Polynesian culture, share travel stories and of course make new friends.
Guesthouses (Pensions)
Not just for the rich and infamous! If you’re celebrating a landmark birthday, a special event or you have a niche group looking for the ultimate destination for a retreat, then an island buy-out may be the perfect option for you. This type of accommodation is not only great for those in search of privacy and seclusion but can also provide a cost effective way to accommodate a large family or group.
